Will an automatic sprinkler system use more water than I'm currently using?

No. In fact, it will conserve water. The today’s controllers and rain sensors are capable of programing the right amount of water you need. You will not over-water or under-water your lawn with an automatic sprinkler system. Save time and money!

Yes! In today’s society there’s not enough time to do the things you want to do no less water the lawn. Automatic sprinkler systems are programed to water at times not to interfere with household water use. Whether you are home or away, your system will do the watering for you!

When you hire a professional, they will work with you to get the best type of system for your needs. They will take into consideration the water, source, soil type, pressure, climate, and conditions of your property.

How long will it take to complete my Irrigation System?

It really does depend on the size of your property and layout of your landscape. Proper zoning and conditions dictate how large or small the irrigation system needs to be. For smaller jobs it may take one to two days, but for larger jobs it can take up to a week.

It will do a much efficient job because a professionally designed system will deliver exactly the right amount of water to individual lawn and garden areas.

What is Drip Irrigation?

Metro Landscape Irrigation uses a smaller tubing using drip emitters to irrigate the landscape or potted plants. A backflow device prevents your irrigation water from flowing backwards into your homes water supply. Our certified installer will install this device explain further how it works.

What happens when it rains?

We strongly encourage owners have us install a rain sensor with new irrigation systems. Rain sensors detect rain, and then turn your sprinklers off until things dry up. If you do not have a rain sensor simply turn off your controller and then turn it back on when the lawn has started to dry up.
